1.0_CD-ROM PLAYER

-This project's goal was to reanalyze and rediscover the old products or materials and transform them into a second, long-life product.
-Mainly focused on old parts from PCs from 1990s and 2000s. CD-ROM was widely used dring this time but now most of them ends up in the landfields.
-CD-ROM PLAYER allows users to integrate with old parts from PCs and encourage them to reuse and repair old products that are not used today.
-CD-ROM PLAYER V2 was greatly inspired by Teenage Engineering Computer-1.

CD-ROM PLAYER V1

The original design concept of the CD-ROM PLAYER featured a transparent case to allow for easy disassembly and assembly, as well as to enable users to easily view the internal components. The brushed stainless steel front panel provided an elegant facade, while the transparent back case, made of acrylic, showcased the internal components to highlight the reuse of old CD-ROMs as a design element. However, the time and material costs involved in producing the case were not cost-effective compared to the recycled CD-ROMs, leading to the development of an alternative, resulting in the creation of V2.
